Top 10 Highest Scoring Midfielders 2024/2025

The 2024/2025 season seems a long time ago now, but with the new season game open, this makes it a great time to look back at which players performed the best during the previous campaign. Below I’ve listed the top 10 highest scoring midfielders. This list should help form a base for team selection for next season.

1. Fernandes (Man Utd) – 443 points Foden (Man City) – 392 points
2. Palmer (Chelsea) – 339 points
3. Mbeumo (now Man Utd) – 337 points
4. Rogers (Aston Villa) – 318 points
5. Eze (Crystal Palace) – 315 points
6. Rice (Arsenal) – 295 points
7. Diaz (Liverpool) – 291 points
8. Tielemans (Aston Villa) – 286 points
9. Saka (Arsenal) – 286 points
10. Garnacho (Man Utd) – 272 points

Once again, the majority of the top 10 highest scoring midfielders are made up from players within the top 4 teams in the Premier League or those involved in Europe. The exception being Mbeumo and Eze, with Eze certainly worth considering now he has European football this season.

Overall, I think the key to selecting midfielders is choosing those who play in a more advanced role, making them more likely to pick up 10+ goals and a good number of assists.

For the upcoming season, I personally won’t be looking much further than most of the names on the list above when it comes to player selection. Time and time again at the end of the season the same names appear, and I can see this trend continuing. Having said that, I can see the budget being tight, so we are going to have to find a bargain somewhere. I also don’t see Fernandes being the top scoring midfielder next season with Man Utd not having European football, although this didn’t seem to affect Mbeumo. Once again though the whole list is dominated by players who have previous Premier League experience.
