My transfers haven’t been paying off in recent weeks and this week feels like another awkward one with no really obvious options. I’ve decided to take out Alexander-Arnold and Watkins as they are both potentially injured and Villa don’t have a game this week anyway. I’m bringing in Dalot as Man Utd have a good fixture this weekend and remain in Europe. If I need to hold him longer term there are some good double game weeks coming up. Despite Man Utd not being great, he’s scored good points across the season. I’m also bringing in Son, probably only for 1 week, but I think he’s one of a few who could have a decent week. I also considered Garnacho, Wood, Diaz and Foden so don’t be surprised to see all of these scoring higher than Son after the past few weeks I’ve had. It was also a toss of a coin between Salah and Fernandes for captain but I’ve gone for Fernandes as he’s had bigger game weeks recently and has the slightly easier fixture.
