I’m going to keep the game week review short this week as it’s a busy time of year. The game week wasn’t a disaster but it wasn’t my best week either. The team dropped slightly on the leaderboard but I’m still in a position that I’m very happy with. I had a disaster with my Robertson transfer and with -3 points for the week, I’m almost certainly going to take him straight out. There were also disappointing returns for Johnson and Haaland – Johnson was particularly frustrating as I could have gone for Kulusevski instead and he’s been scoring very well recently. My biggest dilemma is what to do for next week, which I’ll cover below.
Plan for game week 16
I think game week 16 will be a popular week for using goal booster and I’m going to jump on that bandwagon as well. My team seems fairly well set up for this already with all of the big guns going forward already in place – Palmer, Saka, Fernandes, Haaland, and Salah. I’ve also got Isak who has been scoring OK recently and I could swap Johnson for Mbeumo who is one of the highest scoring midfielders. This leaves me with 4.3m to replace Robertson – almost perfectly this is exactly how much Gvardiol is worth and he’s joint top goalscorer for defenders with 4 goals. As a result, I’m locking this in now as I’m not around tomorrow morning. It could completely backfire but I’ve got to use it at some point so I’m happy to roll the dice on it now while my team is fairly well aligned with fixtures and full of goalscorers.
