Really frustrating week as my captain choice didn’t save for some reason. I published a screen shot of my team with Fernandes as captain but after the deadline I went back in and it had reverted to Palmer. Can only be something that I did but really annoying nevertheless given how well Fernandes scored compared to Palmer. Other than that I was happy with my game week, especially with the decision to bring in Cucurella who gained instant returns.
Here is my breakdown of each player:
Raya – season long pick.
Gvardiol – happy with 14 points, probably a keep for now.
Porro – will keep with Spurs still in Europe.
Cucurella – good returns, will probably keep now until the end of the season.
Eze – planned to take him out before Dalot picked up an injury. May now keep him with Palace into the FA Cup final.
Rogers – not a great 2 points, considering moving him on.
Fernandes – season long pick.
Saka – season long pick.
Palmer – not performing overly well but I’ll keep him with Chelsea remaining in Europe.
Salah – season long pick.
Isak – scored well, may keep him for the time being.
Plan for game week 34
I’m very undecided on what to do for game week 34 at this stage. I’ll ponder it further before the transfer deadline. I’d be happy to lose Rogers and potentially even Isak for a double game week player. However, with all of the English clubs performing well in Euope I do wonder if there will now be heavy rotation next week. I’m half tempted to bring in some low ownership players to have a final push on the leaderboard but I’ll give it some thought over night.
