Review of Game Week 33

Review of Game Week 33

Game week 33 was a decent game week with a rise on the overall leaderboard. However, I’m still way off where I’d be happy finishing the season, so it’s hard to celebrate a small rise. I think my decisions across the season have been logical, so I’ve got no real regrets. I’ve just been unfortunate in the 50/50 decisions where things have gone the other way.

Here is my breakdown of each player:

Raya – decent game week, keep until the end of the season.

Williams – very happy with Williams, good game week as predicted. Will be keeping.

Saliba – good game week and double next week, so I’ll be keeping.

Gabriel – good game week and double next week, so I’ll be keeping.

Szoboszlai – poor game week, and due to single game week fixtures I may roll the dice and take him out.

Rogers – not a good game week and a poor captain choice. Should have gone with Gibbs-White, but could have gone either way.

Rice – not great considering it was a double game week for Arsenal, but I’ll hold with another double coming up.

Semenyo – didn’t play, may take him out with a single game week coming up.

Gibbs-White – fantastic initial returns, did exactly what I’d hoped he would do. Keep for another week at least.

Gyokeres – happy with 10 points but slightly annoyed he didn’t start last weekend.

Haaland – hold for the rest of the season.

Plan for game week 34

I’m limited to a certain extent as I only have 2 transfers. I’m going to take out two players with a single game week in Semenyo and Szoboszlai. I’ll be bringing in two of either Sarr, Watkins, Munoz or Saka in a hope that one of them hits a big score. I will confirm later today before the transfer deadline.
