A slightly frustrating game week, I should have probably gone with the majority and bought in Mbeumo rather than Wissa so it was a gamble that didn’t pay off. This resulted in a very slight drop on the leaderboard. It felt very much like a bullet dodged with Haaland though as I didn’t expect him to start. Cucurella hasn’t done much recently after a good start in my team as well, he’s a slight differential who I could do with putting in some good performances. Eze was a particular highlight this week as his ownership within the top 1,000 isn’t huge at 44%.
As it was a shorter game week and we are approaching the end of the season, I won’t go through each player individually. I’m just going to look straight at my plan for game week 36. I’ll wait on the press conferences for a final decision but I’m instantly thinking Wissa to Haaland is one move I’ll make. I’m not sure I can risk not having Haaland in a double game week despite trying to make some risky transfers. With my other transfer I’m tempted to take out Palmer or Saka for someone with a double game week – this could be another City player or a Man Utd/Spurs player. The problem with Man Utd or Spurs players is that I could see them being rested in the Premier League. With rotation at City it could also be difficult to pick out another player from their team. I’ll have a think about it before commiting to my second transfer.
