Review of Game Week 36

Review of Game Week 36

After a poor week last week, this week was another positive one. But it’s still not enough to create a major jump on the overall leaderboard. I’ll come back to my previous point in that had I not had a bad start I’d have probably stablised in a good position but a couple of really poor game weeks effectively wrote off my season. With too much similarity between teams with the season coming to a close it’s proven very difficult to catch up.

I’m not going to break down each player as we’ve only got a few games of the season left but I’ll be making some changes before the game week ahead but there is little point in commenting on the likes of Raya as I’ll obviously be keeping him.

Plan for game week 37

Palace are the only team with a double game week next week so I’m tempted to throw in a couple of their players. The obvious one is Sarr but many people will own him. Outside of this, it’s hard to predict how other games will go as players may be rested – for example Villa may fail to perform against City after winning the Europa League and effectively have nothing to play for in the Premier League. On the flip side, City have little to play for either and may rotate a lot, Villa may still be on a high and put in a performance. My point is, it’s a complete lottery. What we do know is that West Ham need to win so I could look at Bowen. Spurs also need to win to be certain of safety. I’m currently leaning more towards Palace players at this stage. I’ll confirm over the weekend which transfers I plan to make.
