Fairly straightforward decision this week. Arsenal don’t have a game and from the big clubs only Liverpool and Man City have a double game week. Liverpool face Everton after the fixture was postponed earlier in the season and City face Real Madrid in the Champions League. As a result, I’m only considering City or Liverpool players. I don’t want to go without Haaland even though I can’t see him playing in the FA Cup so he’s coming in. It’s got to be for Isak who may not play in the FA Cup and I don’t want to lose Salah or Gakpo. These leaves me with 0.2m in budget to find. I’m going to take out Alexander-Arnold for Robertson. Alexander-Arnold could well miss the whole game week and even if he doesn’t Robertson is decent cover. I’m likely to bring him straight back in but it’s a move I’m happy to make this week.
