Despite a relatively poor league position in the Premier League, I think Man Utd will be happy with their season on the whole. They achieved their goal of qualifying for the Champions League and picked up two cups along the way. As a result I thought it was worth documenting their player stats, this could come in useful when picking players for next season.

Players who may be worth considering for next season
Bailly – after an impressive first season at Old Trafford, I’m hoping Bailly will be a regular at the back and available at a reasonable price. He is likely to face a lot of competition from Lindelof, Smalling, Jones and Rojo. At this stage it’s tricky to pick what could be a regular back line for Utd next season.
At this stage, other than Bailly, I’m not really considering any Man Utd players. As a team they picked up a huge points total last season. However other than Ibrahimovic and Pogba there were no real standout players from a points scoring perspective. If they bring in an out and out goalscorer over the summer, this could be a player to keep a close eye on.
