Transfers: Costa Out, Ibrahimovic In
With a double header of Premier League games during game week 18 I decided to make a transfer. Costa is out and Ibrahimovic is in. Costa is suspended for the first game of the week and Ibrahimovic is in fine form. One of the biggest mistakes I’ve made this season is taking Ibrahimovic out when I did. The transfer was successful with Ibrahimovic gaining 17 points, which contributed to 88 points for the week.
Positives
Tottenham’s fine form continued with successive 4 – 1 away victories. The risk of having both Kane and Eriksen continues to look like a good choice.
Potential Issues
Shaw and Terry still not getting game time. I don’t like using transfers on defenders however it’s not looking likely that either will be point scoring soon and may need replacing.
Having no Chelsea attacking representation could be a potential issue with Hazard continuing to pick up points.
Tips for Game Week 19
As it will be so early on in the New Year, I’d be tempted not to rush into any transfers unless absolutely necessary. If changes are required I’d look at Liverpool and Man Utd players with extra EFL games in January.
