Overall another decent game week with a small rise on the leaderboard taking the team into the top 1,000. Particular highlights were instant returns from Eze and good performances from Mbeumo, Kulusevski, Isak, Haaland and Salah. On the flip side it was disappointing returns from Timber, Dalot and Palmer. I’m happy with the direction the team is heading in though. I’m keeping the review short again this week as I’ve ran too close to the transfer deadline but I’ll be back into the usual review next week.
Plan for game week 18
I’ve decided to take out Dalot and Eze. Dalot because Man Utd have been awful defensively and I can’t see this changing against Liverpool. Eze because he’s got a tough single game week. I’m bringing in Alexander-Arnold after his big score last week. I’m also bringing in Gordon due to Newcastle having a double game week. This was going to be Diaz but I’ve been put off him with doubts over the Liverpool game going ahead. He’s also never very certain to start games. At least with Gordon we know he’s likely to play today. I considered removing Forster but I’ll see how that plays out first as I don’t see it as an important position.
