Review of Game Week 32

Review of Game Week 32

GW Points: 47
Overall Points: 2,030
Overall Rank: 69,989
Transfers: Aguero out, Mane in

Game week 32 wasn’t overly inspiring. A drop on the overall leaderboard at this stage in the season was the last thing I wanted to see. No game time for Ozil or Bellerin was a particular problem. However Liverpool did put out a strong side and points for Mane, Salah and Firmino was a good result.

Positives:

A goal from the bench for Lukaku was fortunate but he’s a player I plan to stick with until the end of the season anyway.

Liverpool did well in terms of points with 8 points for Van Dijk, Mane and Salah. A star man award and 13 points for Firmino was also a highlight.

Potential Issues:

Other than rotation and any injuries, I don’t see any real problems with the team at the moment. If I had more transfers, I’d probably take out Sane and Walker but this could be something to look at in May.

Tips for Game Week 33

Liverpool and Arsenal have additional European fixtures this week. I’ve shaped my team to target this week for points with four Liverpool players and two Arsenal players. Both clubs could have potentially the most fixtures remaining in the season should they progress to respective finals. If I was looking to make transfers, I’d probably favour Liverpool players as Arsenal’s form has been very hit and miss. They also seem to be resting players a lot in the league.

As always, feel free to share your own progress, suggest any players to look out for or provide any other useful comments below.
