There’s no big game week 9 write up this week, for anyone who isn’t in the WhatsApp group, I got married on Wednesday and I’m about to head abroad for a week so I’m a little short on time this week and next. I do need to keep everyone up to date with my transfers though so here are my moves for this week.
As a very quick game week 9 review, I was bitterly disappointed that my max captain booster went to Haaland. I was hoping he had a quiet week and that most people captained him but it wasn’t to be. There was always going to be luck involved and Salah did do well so the logic was there. I’ve taken a hit on the leaderboard but it looks like most of the people above me have used park the bus so I’m not too worried. Although I’ve dropped, I’m still within the top 1000, which is a position I’d have taken if I was offered it before the season at this stage so still very happy with my start. It’s a tricky week to have to try and fight fires in my team though as I’ve not had much time to think about it at all. However, I’m hoping for some luck with the transfers I’ve settled on below:
Odegaard out, Saka in – straightforward one as I only put Odegaard in to cover for Saka in case he was injured. He did next to nothing so I need to swap them back as I favour Saka.
Fernandes out, Alexander-Arnold in – this is one I’d like to have a bit more time to think about, but logically right now it makes sense. It could backfire but Liverpool have better fixtures and I’m hoping to park the bus next week so getting TAA in now will help with that.
Captain: Salah
Boosters: None this week
congratulations on your marriage.
Thanks Don
