It’s safe to say the team hasn’t got off to the best of starts. I think the reasoning behind this has been well documented but we’ve been fairly unfortunate to date in my opinion. This has left us some way behind the leading pack and with a team not in great shape going into October.
The intention of this post is to gather some thoughts before making transfers, and give people who are following the team the opportunity to comment and suggest ideas before any transfers are made. Hopefully we can then collectively take the team forward in a way everyone is happy with, this should also eliminate any comments in hindsight regarding what we should have done.
Current team analysis
Foster – won’t score big points but is worth keeping as a cheaper option
Valencia – keep, performing well
Kompany – injured, has cost us a lot of points already. Replace if he’s not starting on 14th October. Which in my opinion he won’t be.
Ogbonna – not first choice. Should be replaced unless he’s starting on 14th October.
Pieters – question marks against this contribution to date but should be a regular starter for a mid table team. In an ideal world we replace but currently difficult to justify.
Salah – keep, performing well
Mkhitaryan – keep, performing well but slight doubts about his consistency
Eriksen – good option but difficult fixtures during October. In an ideal world I’d swap him for Hazard
Lukaku – keep, performing well
Kane – keep, performing well
Aguero – injured, needs replacing as I can’t see him being fit for 14th October
Priorities in terms of players who need replacing
Certain to need replacing (if not in starting line ups on 14th October):
Aguero
Kompany
Ogbonna
Consider replacing:
Pieters
Eriksen
No need to replace (at this stage):
Mkhitaryan
Salah
Foster
Valencia
Lukaku
Kane
Hopefully at this stage we all agree with the three players who need replacing. For me the defence is fairly logical to resolve:
Kompany out – Stones in (cheapest who is getting a regular game)
Ogbonna out – Baines in (good value)
This then leaves replacing Aguero. I think we’ve got two realistic options.
Jesus – like for like replacement hoping that Jesus is going to be the main goalscorer in Aguero’s absence.
Hazard – swap to 442 and bring in Hazard on the assumption that he’s going to come good in October with easier fixtures.
I believe the choice pretty much comes down to which player out of the two we believe will score more points in October. Both have good fixtures.
Plan of action
Both of the options below are on the assumption that neither Kompany, Aguero or Ogbonna make the starting line up on October 14th.
Option A (433)
Foster (1.9m)
Valencia (5.5m)
Stones (5m)
Baines (2.1m)
Pieters (1.8m)
Salah (5.5m)
Mkhitaryan (5.2m)
Eriksen (6.1m)
Kane (8.9m)
Lukaku (7.3m)
Jesus (5.5m)
Bank: 1.5m
Option B (442)
Foster (1.9m)
Valencia (5.5m)
Stones (5m)
Baines (2.1m)
Pieters (1.8m)
Salah (5.5m)
Mkhitaryan (5.2m)
Eriksen (6.1m)
Hazard (5.8m)
Kane (8.9m)
Lukaku (7.3m)
Bank: 1.2m
I think both options are an improvement and it’s nice to see a little bit left in the bank to play with. The difficulty is planning where we take the team long term. I’ve analysed each team separately:
Option A:
– 1.5m in the bank would easily allow us to swap Eriksen for Hazard. Hopefully regardless of any price changes.
– We probably wouldn’t have enough in the bank to bring Aguero back in for Jesus.
– If we wanted Aguero back in at some point it would require more than one transfer.
– No Chelsea representation going forward.
Option B:
– 1.2m in the bank means we might be able to bring Aguero in for Eriksen in November. Aguero’s price is likely to remain around the 7.3m mark. Should Eriksen’s price stay the same this would be a straightforward swap with nothing left in the bank.
– Stuck with 442 for the month. I’m not convinced Hazard will score more points than Jesus during October.
– No Man City representation going forward.
Timing
I really don’t like the idea of using up all three transfers at the start of the month. However if there’s no sign of Kompany and Ogbonna is benched again, it would be difficult to wait. It’s a huge risk but should Man City keep a clean sheet Stone’s value would rise again and equally Baines could rise in value. We would obviously run the risk of a major injury or suspension with no transfers left over but we might have to just go for it. If anyone disagrees, feel free to leave your comments below.
I’m completely torn between the two options but feel this is a vital decision. I’ve been in this position a couple of times this season already and made my own choice. Based on some of the comments I’ve had, this time I’m opening it up for comments way before the transfer is made. Hopefully we can reach a decision collectively. As a result leave your comments below regarding which option you prefer, equally feel free to suggest any other alternative transfers.
What are your thoughts on:
OUT: Aguero, Ogbonna, Mkhitaryan
IN: Hazard, Baines, De Bruyne
– Gives us the Man City representation in the front 6 (and a player who is becoming a must have)
– Leaves £1.3m in the bank to potentially swap Eriksen for Aguero in the future
– Issue: Kompany!
Definitely worth considering if Kompany looks likely to play a big part during October. I think De Bruyne is an improvement on Mkhitaryan. I just wouldn’t want to be in the position where Kompany doesn’t kick a ball in October and it costs us another 30-40 points. Fortunately, we can check lines ups before making any transfers on Saturday 14th. So I’d suggest we probably have a plan A then a plan B depending on how those line ups look.
DTT – I think Option A is a better more balanced option – if I was in your shoes I would go that way, I think jesus will get a good run out for the first part of October and it has a good balance about it, thats what I would do.
I made a mistake taking Ali for Hazard last night as my last sept transfer instead of swapping him for de bruyne as de bruyne has gone up now , my plan for october with current 1 mill in the bank is lossi out for foster to free up 700k and maybe jones for cahill which frees up 200k and using £1.4 to swap Mikh for de bruyne – leaving 500k in bank- team will then look like this
Foster
Valencia
Cahill
Baines
Kolesnic
De bruyne
Salah
Hazard
Jesus
Kane
Lukaku
Thoughts?
That team looks pretty strong to me…
With Morata and Aguero out you have the 3 best strikers to choose from. In my opinion, you also have the 3 best midfielders. 4 defenders getting regular football, all in Europe, and should all finish top 7, and a steady keeper in a team with with a half decent defence, and the odd Star Man in him as well…
I would be more than happy with that!!
Thanks Dean,
500k isn’t a lot in the bank going forward so might have to review the Jones – Cahill transfer and look cheaper than Cahill if I can to free up more funds in case of emergency.
If all goes according to plan with no injuries the ease of man city fixtures suggested Jesus would gain value making future changes easier to manage
All looks good to me. I’m guessing you aren’t overly bothered about having Aguero when he comes back from injury though? As this wouldn’t leave you enough for him.
I personally think both Jesus and Hazard are absolute long term priorities in this window. They could quite easily both be the top 2 point scorers this month and rise dramatically in price. Do anything to fit them in! Front 6 players are the priority .
I’d say if only one Jesus is key in a Man city side that are on fire. Having said that Hazard could be playing in a more advanced role now which must be considered
I don’t like what I’ve heard regarding Kompany, not trained in over a month, reoccurring probamatic injury and I don’t see him getting back into a side that’s kept so many clean sheets. Could well drag on for months . . . Pep won’t give any sort of indication how long it’s going to be
I’d personally ditch Kompany, Aguero, Eriksen for Hazard/Jesus and Stones. If possible with budget
I know Ogbonna would be the issue . . .however I think Hazard and Jesus are both too vital. Big points hauls and star man potential to gain some ground. Especially considering Morata and Aguero are out.
Any budget replacement such as Baines etc for Ogbonna could be hit and miss regarding points as we’ve already seen. He’s been minus points for me in the last 2 weeks. I also note there is a cup game this month Ogbonna would possibly start and I think he’s a bad result away from starting again.
I’ve personally put in Hazard/Stones for Mendy/Eriksen and already have Jesus in place
I’d have one transfer remaining that I plan to keep initially.
However what do you think about Mikhi – Sane?! If Aguero is out for a few months?! There’s only Mikhi and Davies I’d potentially be looking at changing atm due to fixtures.
Team:
Foster
Valencia, Stones, Baines, Davies
Mikhi, Sarah, Hazard
Lukaku, Kane, Jesus
£0 in the bank with one transfer remaining
Your in a very similar position to me and from what I have looked into in terms of average position on pitch, touches in the box, passes received sterling has out performed sane and is a better option until aguerro returns. I did post the fpl stats in the previous articles comments butt could dig them out if really needed
I think you’re in a strong position. I’d probably stick with Mhki and hold onto your last transfer for now. I take your point about having both Hazard and Jesus, it’s just a bit risky when Eriksen is fit enough to play and some of the defenders are unlikely to get a game. My main concern is using up all the transfers straight away and then regretting it. Should Everton have a good month Baines could quickly become unreachable.
Hi,
I have 3.8m for a defender? Any advice on who would be best to chose would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
In a similar position in most my teams so be going half and half i think. Bringing in Haz to shift to 442 and bringing in Jesus in some teams 433. I think your transfers are good and v similar to mine. Stones, Davies, Martina, Hazard and Jesus will be coming in to a few of my teams. I bought in Baines and Keane last month ahead of their good run – gambled on them picking up some good form on their fine run of fixtures but that didnt work. Nevermind they are still good value and I believe will come good sooner rather than later.
Team is in a bit of mess though Aguero Kompany Ogbonna and Pieters and you will have to make 3 transfers from the off and hope for the best. I will be doing the same in a few teams.
Another important thing to realise is that because we have an international break we wont have to wait as long for next transfer window. City and Chelsea will only play 5 games in October vs 7 they played in August. Out of the top 6 teams who have Europe only Liverpool play 4 times instead of 5. Although this is due to them being out of the League Cup so probably wont make a difference anyway.
Therefore I think whoever we go with Jesus or Hazard its a less risky move than would have been in August so I dont feel to nervous about it. Although I think I may want to keep Haz beyond October barring injuries or really bad form. Cant say the same for Jesus as Aguero will be back in the picture then.
Some good points. It’s definitely not so risky with less games in October which can only be a good thing based on our position. Do you see there being much between Jesus and Aguero? At the start of the season I was favouring Jesus, then Aguero when he got the hat trick. Now I’m wondering if there’s much between them at all and if we should just stick with Jesus and forget about bringing Aguero back in. Not something I’ve made a decision about but haven’t been able to decide about since the very start of the season.
Abby thats a very very good anaylsis hazard instead of jesus
Saves an additional transfer nov
When we can go back to 433
Eriksen out for ageuro and then we can look at pieters removal
Edging towards
Out
Ogbonna
Kompany
Ageuro
In
Stones
Baines
Hazard
You would be happy going with Hazard and the 442 for October then?
DTT, it’s the toss of a coin with those two options, a toss up between Hazard & Jesus, of course. Would you consider changing Stones to Danilo, then you could change Baines to Luiz.
I know Danilo is not guaranteed starting 11, but he should have a good chance of playing time. Just still not convinced about Everton. I think you can fit these in, but hardly anything in the bank !
I’d consider it but I’d want to see both players starting on 14th October. I’m really not sure about Danilo – he’s not been played since Mendy has been out injured. I think it would also price us out of bringing Aguero back in but still something worth pondering over.
Anthony looking at evertons oct games lyon chelsea arsenal
I think baines v danilo u could be right……luiz will fit straight back into chelseas line up as conte does like him……hazard instead of jesus for me two reasons edens price currently at rock bottom wont get a better time to by
Also if DTT wants sergio back in nov and also as stated hazard long term this will save at least 1 transfer come Nov….
I think this month putting our heads together and coming up with the perfect soloution will work…brainstorming session before we act!!
I’ll have to do the maths but I’m not sure we could afford Aguero if we went for Luiz and Danilo. Also Danilo hasn’t been playing in place of Mendy. I’ll take a closer look into this though.
Yeah, it’s getting Aguero back in, that is causing a headache, with all my teams.
The only problem with them 3 ins and outs leaves us with a additional 0.2m only……how do we propose to bring in sergio november ?
Straight swap for eriksen highly unlikely due to him currently 6.1m or 6.3m and spurs very very hard games this month……
I think i prefer
In
Baines good value at moment
Hazard good value at moment
Stones city good fixtures certain starter
That way we have 2m sitting in the bank nov eriksen for sergio
And then look at pieters alternatives
Better long term plan…
Hi Tech,
Just seen your Sterling stats . . . it looks convincing over Sane I must admit. Form and fixtures are really tempting me
My main worry is Mikhi is nailed if a tad inconsistent but hardly a disaster. Is putting a Man city mid in now just causing rotation issues later down the line?
Suppose it’s all going to come down to how long Agueros out for. If he’s out for 2 months it’s without doubt worth it.
I also understand Bernardo Silva can rotate on the right where Sterling plays but Sane is less troubled by any competition
Think it would be wise for the first gameweek to hold the transfer pending any other injury issues. What’s your plan?
Very much debating grabbing hazard, stones and sterling to leave 2m or so in the bank allowing me to grab aguerro when he returns.
While aguerro is out I think sterling and sane are real contenders and bound to rise in value and personally favour sterling.
I follow the fantasy premier league Reddit and it seems a general consensus that sterling is a better pick there also.
The extra money gives me alot of flexibility but if I grab kdb for Salah instead any must have transfer like aguerro will cost me two transfers as I will need to make cash.
What do you think of my team
Foster
Stones
Yoshida
Pieters
Williams
Hazard
Salah
Mkhitaryan
Kane
Lukaku
Jesus
Good. How many transfers and how much money in the bank?
1 Transfer 0.1M in the bank
Good. Save the transfer for injuries or suspensions I say. Keep an eye on yoshida as I don’t know if he’ll lose his place to hoedt/vvd
I’d be happy with that team if I was going into October with it.
i say Jesus. Hazard’s price could continue to fall rapidly. Jesus saves. October is a short month in terms of SDT so could bring in hazard for november potentially much cheaper
I think there’s little between them in terms of who will pick up more points in October. Going to be a tough choice.
Hi guys,
What do you think? I have £0m in the bank. The changes I am thinking are as follows:
Option 1
Morata Out -> Jesus IN
Erikssen OUT -> Hazard IN
Davies/Kolasnic OUT -> Stones IN?
I am keen to have city representation at the back, so im thinking of sticking Stones In, but who would you take out? Kolasnic or Davies? Davies appears to have the slightly more difficult fixtures, but kolasnic has some tough games coming up too, and tends not to play in europa league to claw points back. I see both of them losing value come end of september.
If I swap davies out the I have £0.3m spare in the bank
Option 2
Morata OUT -> Batschuyai IN
Davies OUT -> Stones IN
Another idea I have is swapping Morata out for Batschuyai and then get city representation in defence, saving a transfer for injuries. But with this option I’d have to hope I Jesus doesn’t go goal crazy and Batman starts and gets the goals, or plays in the cup game and gets a hattrick or something.
Option 3
Morata Out – Hazard IN (switch to 442)
Kolasnic OUT – Stones IN
Leaves 0.1m in the bank
Current team:
Foster £1.9m
Valencia £5.5m
Hegazi £2.1m
Kolasinac £4.7m
Davies £4.3m
—-
Eriksen £6.1m
Salah £5.5m
De Bruyne £6.6m
———
Kane £8.9m
Lukaku £7.3m
Morata £6.2m
Thanks in advance guys,
Steve
Forgot to mention, currently have 552 points!
Cheers
I like option 1 but I’d be a bit wary of using up all of your transfers until you really have to. It is a short month though so could be worth the risk. Your team is in much better shape going into October than mine is.
Thanks DTT,
Regarding your changes i agree with 2 of them, however, Baines I am less sure about due to his fixtures:
(Kompany out – Stones in (cheapest who is getting a regular game)
Ogbonna out – Baines in (good value)
Jesus – like for like replacement hoping that Jesus is going to be the main goalscorer in Aguero’s absence.
Baines in October:
8 1.30PM, 15/10 EPL Brighton Amex Stadium
8 8.05PM, 19/10 UEL Lyon Goodison Park
9 1.30PM, 22/10 EPL Arsenal Goodison Park
9 7.45PM, 25/10 ELC Chelsea Stamford Bridge
10 4.00PM, 29/10 EPL Leicester King Power Stadium
10 6.00PM, 2/11 UEL Lyon Parc OL
I dont see any clean sheers there at all, especially with poor form as a team. I know there is the attraction of european games, but both arent kind either I think his value will drop even further, which makes him a good option for November look at his fixtures:
11 4.30PM, 5/11 EPL Watford Goodison Park
12 3.00PM, 18/11 EPL Crystal Palace Selhurst Park
12 8.05PM, 23/11 UEL Atalanta Goodison Park
13 1.30PM, 26/11 EPL Southampton St. Mary’s Stadium
13 8.00PM, 29/11 EPL West Ham Goodison Park
Im thinking within that price range, Simpson offers value, fixtures below – then you could swap him for Baines in November:
8 8.00PM, 16/10 EPL West Brom King Power Stadium
9 3.00PM, 21/10 EPL Swansea Liberty Stadium
9 7.45PM, 24/10 ELC Leeds United King Power Stadium
10 4.00PM, 29/10 EPL Everton King Power Stadium
Thoughts?
Can’t argue with the fixtures. I guess my way of thinking is that I don’t want to keep using transfers on defenders. I’d hope that Baines is a better long term option than Simpson. I agree they’ve got a fairly tough month but I think in the long term it should save a transfer and I’d hope Baines would score over 100 points for the season.
DTT,
Also had another thought, I could do:
Davies Out -> Luiz in
Kolasnic out -> stones in
Morata out -> Jesus in
leaves £0.5m in the bank for transfers for november. Thoughts?
Yes I wouldnt have hazard, but im concerned by davies fixtures and the returning rose, losing both value and points. Hazard hasnt hit the heights – yet! I am hoping if spurs get some good performances in erikssen would be a potential star man magnet.
Looks good, I’d be tempted to save a transfer though if it’s not essential. Do you need to take out Kolasinac? This would save you a transfer if not, and it would give you options when you see how the month is progressing. If Hazard starts very well, you will have the option of bringing him in then.
You’ve got to remember that if Baines doesn’t keep clean sheets, doesn’t score, then his price will continue to plummet. Is 1.0m the lowest price in the game ?
Anthony,
That’s my thinking, baines will go down in price. And it can go below £1m, fosu mensah is currently 0.8m. I think Everton defenders will be cheap as chips come november
I think they could keep a clean sheet at Brighton and Leicester. I’ve not heard much about Lyon over the past couple of years but imagine they will be tough opponents. It wouldn’t bother me so much if his value dropped – I don’t plan on taking him out. If you had my team going into October what moves would you make?
So my team looks like this going to October
Pickford
Ogbonna
Davies
Mendy out Stones in
Erikson out Hazard in
Mkhi
Salah
Jesus
Kane
Lukaku
I think jesus is bound to grab a few goals with aguero out… He says haha
I’d be happy with that going into October. Will you be looking to replace Ogbonna though?
Erm that’s the issue my rival has been getting goalkeeper points over my mine (being Pickford) I have the one transfer left so saving or it’s Ogbonna out I guess??
Personally I’d favour Ogbonna out over Pickford. Unless Ogbonna is starting on October 14th. Purely because Pickford could pick up points as he will be playing, whereas Ogbonna is almost certain to pick up nothing if he’s unlikely to get on the pitch.
Oh and Valencia
With one transfer remaining
What do you think of my current team after making 3 transfers…
Pickford
Stones
Valencia
Kompany
Luiz
Hazard
Salah
Mane
Lukaku
Kane
Jesus
I’m taking a punt that kompany will be back in the next game or so. 3.5m is very cheap for a city defender!
I’d like to see Kompany make a come back quickly in October but I just can’t see it happening. It would really help with my team as well. Yours looks strong either way so I think you can afford to gamble on Kompany if you’ve got Stones as well.
Hi,
Thinking of going all in and using all the October transfers at once..
Team
Hennessy
Valencia
Davies
Pieters
Transfer out Mendy for Baines
Salah
Transfer out Eriksen for hazard
Transfer out Mkhi for De Bruyne
Kane
Lukaku
Jesus
2.4m budget left for Aguero and upgrade on a defender in nov
Seems good option to get both hazard and debruyne in whilst relatively cheap. Hopefully Jesus will rise in value being the lone striker for a month and Aguero drop a bit which would hopefully lead to my budget going to 3m for Aguero and 1/2 upgrades on defence or get a steady keeper in.
Thoughts?
Couldn’t argue with any of those changes. Good to have some in the bank for bringing Aguero in as well. My only observation would be, do you need to use up all of your transfers so early on? Worth considering keeping Mkhi and holding that transfer in case you need it?
Yeah I see your point, it is a bit risky although if any players did get injured from the 14th October onwards it’s only a few weeks til November transfers start. Just want to get both midfielders in before they become unreachable.
Currently
Pickford
Mendy (inj)
Pieters
Valencia
Davies
Eriksen
Mkhitaryan
Salah
Kane
Lukaku
Jesus
Thinking Eriksen and Mendy out, allowing Hazard and Stones in. Any thoughts? Cheers
It’s my current plan also, debating the third to be either
Salah to kdb or mkhi to sterling( this one doesn’t seem popular but I have a gut feeling in it I guess)
That’s exactly what I’d be doing. I’d be more than happy if I could accommodate Jesus and Hazard for October.
I’d be tempted to get hazard and Jesus in whatever it costs you in defence. Do you think that Cahill and luiz represent better value than stones at the moment?
Opinions please
Foster
Baines
Valencia
Jones
Darmian
Mkhitaryan
Ozil
Salah
Morata
Kane
Lukaku
Thinking morata,Ozil definately and maybe darmian out?
Those would be the ones I’d take out. And I’d look to bring in a City defender, Hazard and Jesus. Not sure where that leaves you with budget but it would be an improvement.
No budget if go hazard Jesus leaves me 2.3mil for a defender. Any ideas?
Suppose could go another defender instead of Jones? Or possible go for sterling as cheaper city option? Thoughts what would you do?
I’d swap Darmian and Morata as priorities. Swapping Morata for either Jesus or Hazard if you can’t get both. I’m in the same position and can’t decide who either. Then I’d consider grabbing a City or Chelsea defender and use whatever budget you have left on replacing Ozil.
Been keeping an eye on your blog for a while and appreciate the time and effort your putting in – been a great and interesting read so thought it was about time I asked for your opinions on my team and potential October subs as below (0.7m ITB);
De Gea
Jones
Valencia OUT —— Stones IN
Lowe OUT —— Luiz IN
Stephens
Salah
Hazard
Mkhitaryan OUT —— Sterling IN
Lukaku
Jesus
Kane
So clearly I want to sure up my defence a bit more before all City/Chelsea defenders get out of my reach, but it means making amendments/gambles in other places. Those subs above leave me with 0.5m (or 0.8m/0.1m if Sterling/Sane swapped respectively for Salah which is also an option).
I was going to take out Stephens, but to be honest, he’s most likely going to hold at 2.2m due to not playing whereas I’d be a bit worried that Lowe may continue to drop in his price across the next few games if Huddersfield’s games don’t go their way. So feel it may be worth waiting to bring in Baines in November for Stephens and cash in on the money I’ve made on Lowe so far. Risky I know, so all opinions welcome and appreciated!
I think taking Valencia out and leaving Jones is a good move, gives you some City representation at the back which you said was the objective. Taking out Lowe for Luiz is a good upgrade, but I’m not sure about leaving Stephens. I take your point that his value is unlikely to drop but he also won’t be picking up any points. Sterling should get game time but I’m guessing he’s a downgrade to free up funds for Luiz. I think Mhki is a better option than Sterling but if you were going to drop Mhki or Salah, I’d drop Mhki as you have done.
Thanks for the quick reply – greatly appreciated.
You’re right, the only reason I’d swap Sterling in for Mkhi is to free up funds for a stronger back line in the long run. That and Aguero being injured, I think he’ll play a large chunk of their games in Oct and nab a few points. Or at least I hope he will. I had looked at De Bruyne, but I can only bring him at the expense of not having Luiz or Stones – I can’t manage both this month sadly, and this would still leave an issue at the back without being able to properly upgrade either of the other two DFs.
Regarding Stephens, you’re totally right about being bang on for getting 0 points…however, Huddersfield had their first game this season against top 6 opponents last week and leaked in 4 goals. They play 3 games this month (Swansea, Man Utd and Liverpool) and I can only see them picking points up potentially against Swansea..which could mean minus points for the rest of the games. Bit of a gamble either way.
I’d personally go for Sane over Sterling as he has less rotation risk then Sterling but both could pick up plenty of points in October..
Thoughts on my team
Foster
Ogbonna-Baines in
Valencia
Trippier

Morata
1 transfer left, 0.4m in bank, I read Morata could be back next week ? What about Rashford if not ? Or could go 442 and get in Coutinho ??
I’d probably go for Jesus if it was my team. He should get plenty of game time with Aguero out.
There is a abit if uncertainty re Morata as some representative say he should be back in squad for next weekend ? Another one I wanted to ask about was Sanchez ? Arsenal have really easy fixtures for next 6 weeks and not many ppl have got him…
I’m avoiding any Arsenal players – they might as well not be in Europe as they aren’t taking a full strength side so don’t get the benefit of extra fixtures. With regards to Morata – fortunately we don’t need to worry about getting transfers done before prices change. So you could wait and see if he starts on Saturday 14th before making the transfer. If he doesn’t start or make the bench then you could make the decision to replace him.
That’s what I’ll probably do… trippier needs addressing too as can see Spurs defenders leaaking a lot of points and value to go down with there upcoming fixtures.. could do straight swap for Luiz..
Yea il be taking out Davies for the same reason. Luiz I think would seem great value as a replacement, though I’m not sure how cfc are going to line up defensively long term. Are luiz and Cahill still certain starters? Think a lot of cfc fans are championing rudiger and christiensen.
Seeing the line ups will help decide.
At the moment il be going:
Erikesen-hazard
Mendy-stones
Davies-luiz
All at no cost leaving me with 1.7 in the bank still.
Cahill is club captain he was in the starting 11 36/38 games last season Conte is a manger of consistency of team and thus consistency of performance that is why Conte had a 79% win rate last season in the premier league highest win rate in the last decade for a premier league manager.
DTT: sergio may be back next weekend according to reports
ABBY: according to sundream team ratings twitter feed sergio will go up to 7.9m in the next couple of weeks how true i dont know could you confirm ?
On those 2 premises worth keeping ?
I think he’s had his first training session but not sure he will be back for a few weeks.
I think I’ve reached a decision on transfers for October, I’d appreciate your thoughts at http://www.dreamteamtips.co.uk/october-transfers-decision/
This Mane injury had forced my hand as I wanted to save a transfer to set my defence out, these things happen… question to all – who to replace mane with – Coutinho (who will now play in mane’s advanced position) or Sane ? The price difference is also about £1.1m..
Hi great to see quick responses and the opinion of others is always valued.

This matches my transfer budget but im stuck on whether to have Hazard of KGB? You all read the interview with Hazard today he’s stated he’s expecting poor games. Surprising statement from a professional. Maguire also included as Leicester have a good-ish run.
Thoughts please thanks

Hegazi – Maguire
