If you’re looking to pick up some big points during game week 24 here are some of our best picks and ones to watch for this weekend. These are very short term suggestions if you’re struggling to use your allocated transfers for the month. It’s worth keeping in mind at this stage that both Man Utd and Tottenham have additional Europa League fixtures towards the end of February. For a full guide to transfers in February check out our comprehensive guide to the month.
Lukaku
After bagging 4 against Bournemouth during game week 23, Lukaku is certainly one to watch for the coming game week. Everton are away at Middlesbrough and this could be another high scoring game for Lukaku. He is currently the top goalscorer in the Premier League and will certainly be hoping to add to this at the weekend. Lukaku could be a fantastic short term option, however with only 2 games remaining for February it could be costly to include him.
Sanchez
Arsenal host Hull on Saturday which could provide an opportunity for Sanchez to rack up some points. They will be looking to get back to winning ways after a disappointing defeat to Chelsea last weekend and should have the quality to brush aside Hull at the Emirates. Again this could be a short term option as it is set to be Arsenal’s last Premier League game during February, with only a difficult Champions League tie at Bayern and an FA cup fixture with Sutton remaining.
Costa and Hazard
It’s hard to see Chelsea slipping up at Burnley on Sunday after a resounding victory over Arsenal last weekend. Costa and Hazard seem to be the big point scorers and could potentially both do well at the weekend. Costa consistently scores goals and will be hoping to get back on top of the goal scoring charts. Hazard has also been in incredible form this season and it’s hard to imagine that one of these two won’t pick up star man at Burnley.
Ibrahimovic
With a comfortable victory over Leicester in their last outing, Man Utd will be looking to push on again in the Premier League with a home tie against Watford. This could present an opportunity for Ibrahimovic to add to this goal tally for the season. As highlighted above, if he also plays in the Europa League fixtures during the rest of February having Ibrahimovic in your side could be a very shrewd move.
Why is Jesus missing from this list?
Man City don’t play until Monday evening. Although this is the same round of fixtures for the Premier League, for Dream Team this is a separate game week. As a result if you wanted to make a move for Jesus or any other Man City player, it would be worth playing out this weekend’s games first and effectively getting an extra fixture by making your transfer on Monday.
